sylunara is built on a principle: your data is yours. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we will never do.

1. What We Collect

• Account information — name, email address, and authentication credentials
• Conversations — messages between you and your AI, stored to provide persistent memory
• Time capsules — content you seal, stored encrypted until unlock conditions are met
• Memory data — context your AI retains across sessions to personalize your experience
• Usage metadata — token counts, session timestamps, feature usage (for billing and platform health)
• Payment information — processed through Stripe. We do not store card numbers.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not track you across the web
• We do not use cookies for advertising
• We do not build advertising profiles
• We do not sell or license your data to third parties
• We do not use your conversations to train models

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the service — memory, capsules, and AI interactions require data storage
• To bill you — usage tracking for subscription and inference billing
• To improve the platform — anonymized, aggregate analytics only. Never individual content.
• To communicate with you — account-related emails, service updates, security alerts

4. AI & Inference Privacy

• Inference runs on sovereign infrastructure — Llama 3.1 models run on our own hardware, not third-party cloud
• When Claude (Anthropic) is used for specific features, data is sent via API with no training opt-in
• Your conversations are not used to train any AI model — ours or anyone else's
• Hive mind features use anonymized, aggregated signals — never raw conversation data

5. Data Storage & Security

• Data is stored on infrastructure we control
• Time capsules are encrypted at rest
• We use HTTPS/TLS for all data in transit
• Access to user data is restricted to essential operations only

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Delete — request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export — download your conversations, capsules, and memory in a portable format
• Correct — update or correct your account information at any time

7. Data Retention

• Active accounts: data retained as long as your account is active
• Cancelled accounts: data retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted
• Deletion requests: processed within 14 days

8. Third-Party Services

• Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
• Anthropic — Claude API for specific AI features (anthropic.com/privacy)

We do not integrate with advertising networks, analytics trackers, or data brokers.

9. Children

The Platform is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 14 days before taking effect.
